In today’s digital age, a WWCC update takes seconds. We are committed to making updating WWCC online faster and more convenient by developing a secure and private service. NSWDigital ID Solved. This will allow us to better support all our customers in NSW, especially those with disabilities, those who live in rural areas, those who are short on time.

You will be able to update your WWCC anytime, anywhere using the Service NSW website or smartphone app.

WWCC renewal uses photo verification to enhance the identification process. Customers must use their desktop, laptop, or phone camera to review real-time photographic images against their government-issued ID. This keeps your identity safe and protects you from online imitation by scammers and hackers. Selfies are not stored by service NSW and will be destroyed as soon as the update is complete.

No one, including us, can see or share your details without your consent. You decide what you share, how you share it, and who you share it with.

This means you no longer have to go to a service center unless you want to apply or renew your WWCC. This saves our customers a lot of time while also improving accessibility for customers who cannot physically get to a service center.

A small group is piloting the new digital WWCC update process before rolling it out to all NSW customers. This gives us time to test how it works, incorporate feedback from participants, and make any necessary enhancements.

Proving your identity online is always optional. You can also visit the Service Center for WWCC application or renewal. This means no more inconvenience of sharing scans or copies of physical documents. These versions will never be replaced, but soon you’ll be able to see who you are digitally. The choice is yours.
