Biden addressed the gaffe, stating, “Look, I wouldn’t have picked Vice President Trump to be vice president if I didn’t think she’s qualified to be president.” He continued to fumble when discussing Harris’s qualifications, emphasizing her prosecutorial experience and other attributes.
