Rich boy on his hoard of milk and honey, kneeling at the altar of inherited money, and all the marks are in it to win it, but he’s selling yesterday’s lottery tickets. Me? I’m just here to live blog this pro wrestling show for you folks.

The show opens with a recap of Money in the Bank from Saturday.

We see Damian Priest, still World Heavyweight Champion, walking backstage.

CM Punk makes his entrance, smiling and greeting fans on the ramp.

He gets in the ring and on the mic, saying it’s been a long time since he’s been in Ottawa, and it’s great to be here. He has a lot to get off his chest, starting with recognizing someone he’s spent a lot of time in the ring with, whom he once insulted deeply by calling him the New York Yankees.

He congratulates John Cena on his retirement and expresses a desire to wrestle him one more time. But Cena’s not here, and there’s another guy who isn’t here either: Drew McIntyre. Punk shows footage of McIntyre interrupting the post-show panel at Money in the Bank, shoving referees, and knocking Raw general manager Adam Pearce back with an elbow before Wade Barrett held him back from further violence.

CM Punk says he came back to get his hands on Drew and teach him the simple lesson that there are consequences to your actions. He recounts how he played spoiler to McIntyre over the last several months and his promise that as long as there’s air in his lungs, Drew will never be world champion again. Punk wants to fight McIntyre but can’t if he’s suspended. He asks for McIntyre’s suspension to be lifted so they can settle things in the ring.

Seth Rollins enters.

CM Punk hops on the commentary desk, borrowing Pat McAfee’s headset, and mocks Rollins. Seth asks Punk to get in the ring unless he’s afraid of getting his ass kicked. Punk tells Rollins to watch his mouth and says he didn’t mean to interfere in Seth’s business, but he was handling his own.

Rollins accuses Punk of being a serial gaslighter and the king of propaganda. He says Punk is always selfish and burns bridges, but it won’t happen on his watch. He won’t take a cheap shot because his body isn’t 100%, but when CM is cleared, Rollins will make sure he can’t even say Drew McIntyre before he snaps Punk’s arm and puts him back on the shelf.

Actions have consequences.

Adam Pearce is backstage apologizing to Dominik Mysterio for not getting to him sooner. Dom doesn’t want to team with Liv Morgan, but Pearce insists it’s happening.

Liv Morgan approaches Dom, saying she’s doing this for him. She wants him to see who the real daddy of the Mysterio family is. He begrudgingly agrees.

She gives her box to Pat McAfee, and the screen goes dark.

Sheamus is interviewed backstage.

He says all these young thundercats think they can take shortcuts, but it takes years to put on a banger. Bronson Reed interrupts, calling himself the future and Sheamus the past. Sheamus challenges him to a match, but Bronson declines for tonight, wanting to witness what he does to Pete Dunne first.

Sami Zayn makes his entrance and gets on the mic.

First of all, he says it’s an honor to be standing in the ring in his nation’s capital, representing Canada as a champion. He says Bron Breakker brought all his power and speed but made the mistake of thinking Sami was the underdog in the match. Sami says he’s not an underdog anymore; he is a champion.

Enter Bron Breakker.

Zayn asks why he’s here, if he’s looking for a fight or a rematch, or just staring? Sami shoves the mic into his hand, and Bron slowly raises it, saying he came out to look the only man who’s beaten him in the eye. He didn’t think it would be him, but he’s a smart guy and knows there’s no reason for a rematch.

He spears Sami out of his shoes! Mounted punches, referees and road agents swarm but Breakker breaks away and gets back on him! Adam Pearce is in the crush now, and Bron backs off for a bit… but spears Sami on the floor!

Carlito & Judgment Day win by pinfall with Coup de Grace from Finn Balor on R-Truth.

Adam Pearce is backstage talking to CM Punk.

He puts half the blame on Punk but says next week he’ll see if Drew McIntyre is ready to talk about it. CM Punk needs to stay home and let Pearce deal with Drew. Punk reluctantly agrees.

We see Rey Mysterio and Zelina Vega hanging out backstage.

Back from commercial, Liv Morgan wants to work on double-team moves with Dominik Mysterio, but he’s not having it.

She pushes him onto a couch and, uh… works his leg. He’s starting to enjoy it when Judgment Day rolls up, and she leaves. Damian Priest says it’s not that hard; Dom should be done with this. Carlito jokes, and Dom says he thought he put an end to it but will now.

Dominik Mysterio & Liv Morgan vs. Rey Mysterio & Zelina Vega

Liv and Zelina starting, lock up, Vega arm drag, handstand headscissors, both women up to their feet. Tag to Dom, he wants his dad. Rey in, side headlock, whip reversed, Dom with a shoulder block. Drop down, leapfrog, booting Rey around.

Bron Breakker vs. Ilja Dragunov

Dragunov goes right after him with clubbing blows, the bell rings, and he hits a missile dropkick. Off the ropes, big boot, and Bron takes over with a suplex. Mounted punches, choke with the knee, stomp to the back, another suplex, waistlock for a moment, elbows to the back of the head.
