Tash Peterson: Controversial vegan activist protests in Norway
Notorious vegan activist Tash Peterson has taken her controversial protests all the way to Norway, posting videos of her arguing with meat eaters while dressed in a bikini.
The 29-year-old was standing in front of a meat stall with a sign that read “Norway stop murdering whales!” when she was approached by an aggravated man who asked her if she had tasted whale.
“No, I’m not interested in eating a murder victim’s body,” Peterson responded.
“Why do you think it’s okay to eat whales?” she asked.
“Because that’s the whole way of nature. Right now the whale hunting in Norway is increased because of overpopulation,” the man said.
He then attempted to shut down the conversation, saying “I don’t think I want to discuss this with you because you are sexualising it, by standing here in a itsy bitsy teeny bikini getting attention”.
In other clips posted to her Instagram, the Perth activist was approached by another angry witness who informed her she had called the police over her lack of clothing.
However, the young woman eventually calmed down after realising why Tash was protesting and even said she would consider going vegan.
The infamous activist made headlines in July after she was charged over an incident at a Perth restaurant.
Peterson is accused of trespass and refusal to leave a licensed premises after she allegedly stormed celebrity chef John Mountain’s restaurant.
However, she won’t be returning to Australia to face charges in person after a court was told she intended to stay overseas until December.
