South West Rocks Country Club has been charged in connection with the death of former pro surfer Chris Davidson.
South West Rocks Country Club is facing a string of charges related to the death of former professional surfer Chris Davidson at the facility.
A 45-year-old man died last September after being beaten outside the venue and hitting his head on the pavement.
A 42-year-old man was arrested and charged with assault causing death.
A police investigation currently has the country club charged with 16 counts related to the incident.
This includes five counts of licensees permitting obscenity or violence on licensed premises, licensees not following the terms of their licences, and ten counts of clubs violating the rules of a registered club.
The matter is scheduled to be heard in Kempsey District Court on March 9.
