Perth’s Post Malone: Aussie fans go crazy supporting Red Hot Chili Peppers
As Perth fans count down to time post malone Taking the Optus Stadium stage, feedback from East Coast concert-goers is that the American rapper has outdone his main act.
The 27-year-old musician is on tour with the Red Hot Chili Peppers and wows crowds across the country with his opening act.
The tattooed rapper already has fan grace, but reports say he’s starting to score a few more with his latest performance.
Postie, as it’s affectionately called by its fans, has 51 million monthly listeners and over 19 billion streams.
He has collaborated with several artists including Doja Cat, The Weeknd and Ozzy Osbourne.
The Chili Peppers had been criticized by some of the East Coast concertgoers for not performing one of their most iconic songs, Under The Bridge.
But Malone’s fans won’t be bothered by the leaked setlist.
He’s also won over fans with nods to Australian pop culture, wearing ADCD tops, Bannings hats, and shoes on stage through fans’ Converse.

Arriving in Perth on Friday afternoon, Rockstar only had time to spend with the fans who greeted him at the airport.
The new father, who welcomed his first child (daughter) last year, posed for pictures and signed autographs with a few fans before leaving the airport.
Post Malone will hit the stage at 7:15 p.m. Sunday at Optus Stadium, while the Chili Peppers will hit the stage at 9 p.m.
