Five people were arrested Monday morning after a police operation involving negotiators lasted more than four hours in a shooting in southwest Sydney.
Officers from the Liverpool City Police Area Command were called to Charles Street, Liverpool around 2am after reports of gunshots being heard.
Police set boundaries around the troop block and called in specialists, including negotiators, to the area.
At around 2:15 am, a woman was arrested after exiting the building.
The operation ended around 5:40 am and two more women and two men were detained.
All were taken to Liverpool Police Station.
There have been no reports of injuries.
Crime scene warrants are executed at the location.
