Quall was praised by football loose coach Graham Arnold after playing 18 minutes off the bench against the All Whites in Oakland last Sunday.

However, he expressed no interest in whether Quor was good enough to join Australia’s squad for the World Cup in Qatar in November.

“He’s a kid. He just turned 18. I told him to go out and have fun,” Arnold said.

“I just wanted to give him experience. He showed some quality when he joined, but this is just the first step for him.

The 17-year-old made nine A-League appearances for the Mariners last season, but that was a staggering rise for Quall, who hasn’t even started yet.

Central Coast coach Nick Montgomery said the young star will start this season with six A-League games before Arnold completes his World Cup squad.

“It’s worth noting that he hasn’t started in the A-League…he’s a special talent. He almost scored and almost set a goal (against New Zealand),” he told Fox Sports.

“I don’t look at him like a kid. If you’re good enough, you’re old enough. The reality is he’s starting the game for us this season.” You should be in position.”

Montgomery said Kuol had the right attitude to go for bigger and better things.

You don’t have a crystal ball, but what you do know is if you give them the right grounds and they stay humble. Whatever move they make,” he said.

“As long as they maintain that attitude and the desire for you to dig in, I hope they can succeed at any level.”
