Ambulance worker in New South Wales dies in suspected attack.man arrested

“This is going to really hit the workforce. It’s going to be a very challenging day.”

At a press conference on Friday morning, NSW Premier Chris Mings described the incident as a dire situation.

“My thoughts are clearly all those of the police officers involved, the paramedic’s family and the NSW paramedic fraternity,” he said.

Meanwhile, in another case, police are seeking information after a man was allegedly stabbed with a pair of scissors by a stranger in Surry Hills.

The incident occurred on Devonshire Road shortly before 10:25 pm on Thursday.

Police said two men who didn’t know each other got into an altercation before one allegedly stabbed the other with a pair of scissors.

The alleged victim, a 28-year-old man, was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital in a stable condition.

Detectives described the man as white, thin, and wearing a fluorescent orange jumper.
