World War II bomb spread on German hospital grounds

A police spokesperson confirmed that the 250-kilogram WWII bomb found in Berlin three weeks ago was successfully disbanded.

The bomb will be removed from the site found at the Jewish hospital in Berlin, after which 15,000 locals asked to leave the house for their own safety during surgery return to their home. Is allowed.

Police explosives experts led the operation to dismantle the bomb.

The 500-meter exclusion zone around the site is in effect early Sunday morning.

Police said evacuation of the area was significantly delayed due to the unexpected time required to relocate people with disabilities and those with acute illness.

In addition, many residents made some persuasion before agreeing to leave the house.

The evacuation order affected the Jewish Hospital and the German Red Cross Hospital, and everyone was able to spend the day with friends and family.

Others were told to stand up at the meetinghouse where they were supposed to be transported by bus to the emergency shelter.
