Victorian police have charged a man after his father in the suburbs of Melbourne was killed on suspicion of hit-and-run.
He was charged with a man who allegedly helped another person escape from the crash site.
It is understood that the indictment was made by 25-year-old Ashley Powell.
A 30-year-old child suspected of driving a deadly car has also been detained but has not yet been charged.
Timmy Lakei, 44, who worked on the road with a colleague, died in an accident on Tuesday morning outside Caram Downs.
A 38-year-old colleague was seriously injured but survived and was able to be discharged.
