Two men accused of puncture wounds in Perth

Police investigating a fatal puncture wound outside a nightclub in Perth have charged two men in a second attack shortly before.

A murderer detective said a 23-year-old Aveley man was charged with causing serious physical harm in connection with a puncture wound in Northbridge on November 27.

A 20-year-old Marangaroo man will also face a court accused of being an accessory after the fact of the crime.

The pair was scheduled to appear in the Magistrates’ Court in Perth on Sunday.

According to police, the incident was associated with another puncture wound that occurred minutes later, killing a 28-year-old man.

The 18-year-old was charged with the attack during a brawl near a nightclub in the Republic.

The victim was treated on-site but died in the hospital, and a man in his twenties was also treated for a non-fatal stab.

According to police, it was members of the local African community who were involved in the fighting at the time and were known to each other.
