A man was taken to the hospital on Wednesday morning after a truck and train collided at an upper hunter railroad crossing. Paramedics were called to the scene near Scoon just before 7:15 am. An ambulance ambulance crew member in New South Wales treated a truck driver, a 29-year-old man, in the Turanville Road scene. He was taken to Scone Hospital before being airlifted to John Hunter Hospital. Hunter Valley police officers are investigating. Railroads in the area are closed and are expected to remain in place until the first inquiry is completed.
