A teenage boy is hospitalized with serious injuries after being attacked by two dogs in a park in western Sydney.

A 13-year-old dog was attacked by two dogs in front of a terrifying spectator at Homebush West’s Hampstead Road Park on Sunday afternoon.

Police and New South Wales ambulance rescuers were called to the scene at around 3:20 pm.

Rescuers treated the boy’s foot bite before being taken to a children’s hospital in West Mead.

The council has seized two dogs, St. Bernard and Rottweiler, and police are investigating the case.

“Obern Police Area Command officials attended the scene and secured two dogs,” NSW police said.

“As inquiries about the case continued, the council ranger got a dog.”
