The Commonwealth Bank’s summer campaign focused on women’s sports.

Commonwealth Bank, home to M & C Saatchi, has updated its long-standing support for women’s cricket and women’s football in its latest campaign, The Game Changers.

Commonwealth Bank is a longtime sponsor of the Australian women’s cricket team and recently added the women’s soccer team The Matildas to their partnership.

“Game Changer” is the latest summer campaign from banks. Its purpose is to defend both the elite representing women in sports and grassroots female cricketers and soccer players.

Commonwealth Bank has been supporting female cricket for over 20 years. This partnership has contributed to the growth of the game, especially over the last five years. This investment supports a role model that encourages young women to pick up bats and balls and defends it at all levels, from rural to national.

The campaign will feature prominent athletes Ellyse Perry and Samker. Next to them are amateur sportswomen Aniyer, Dharmini, Evie and Zoe. Featuring a 30-second TVC, the spot features local artist Sampa the Great and her track “FEMALE” as a soundtrack. It introduces real talent and how these people are game changers in their field.

The campaign will be cut into spots of 15 seconds and 6 seconds and will be rolled out with OOH purchases of various sizes. It is supported by digital and social assets.
