You might think it’s too late to shred in the summer, but Health Hacker Adam MacDougall reveals that if you follow a few simple steps, you can save in weeks instead of months.
Do you think it’s too late to shred in the summer? Think again.
Do you remember your health and fitness goals? Is there anything that said goodbye around January 2020? It was then that Covid first arrived at our doorstep like a guest of an unwanted home. And it threw our lives into a whirlpool of chaos and calories.
But even in that (hopefully) dying suffering, this pandemic bastard put his last trick on his sleeve and was finally able to get out of what felt like a two-year hibernation (with a bear). Unlike, our cave was full of ice-cream and Tim Tam biscuits) Summer is just around the corner.
If you’re like me, you’re out of the house, blinking in the harsh sunshine, and wondering how you lose your pandemic punch and all those Covid calories before the hot season comes. It’s full.
But first, always keep in mind that your goals need to be realistic in order to be healthy. Before December 1st, you will lose 20 kilograms and will not start the marathon. At the very least, you can’t help but risk serious injury.
Most studies show that weight loss sweet spots are between 500 grams and 1 kilogram per week. This is not only safe but sustainable, and gradually weight loss study participants are much more successful in losing weight in the long run.
And we’re talking here that not only does it look good, it also feels good. According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, losing just 5% of your total weight can significantly reduce your risk of health problems and increase your mood, energy levels, and self-confidence. ‘I’m still technically overweight.
If someone weighs 100 kg, it means losing only 5 kg will start unlocking the health benefits offered.
You might think it’s too late this summer. But the good news is. In fact, with a few simple steps, you can tone up and trim down in weeks instead of months.
Don’t you believe me Try this for just two weeks and tell me what to do.
1. The power of protein
Protein isn’t just for gym junkies who lift heavy sweating heavy weights. In fact, many serious studies have shown that starting a day with a protein hit not only helps control appetite, but also increases energy expenditure, increases fat oxidation, and most importantly, training. It has been found to lead to fat loss, whether medium or not. Is it difficult?
2. Forget the gym and concentrate on the kitchen
It has long been said that most muscles are made in the gym, but are 6 packs made in the kitchen? Well, that’s true.
For example, if you want to burn a pie you ate while watching cricket, you need to run for at least an hour to burn it.
A much better, faster and safer approach is to stock your diet. Yes, that means saying goodbye to Tim Tam, trying to get rid of excess sugar as much as possible, and making healthier and better divided choices.
3. Find a new way to move
I’m a big fan of HIIT (or High Intensity Interval Training). HIIT is a short and explosive exercise lesson aimed at sweating for those who are short on time. Studies show that people who do HIIT training (sessions can be as short as 10 minutes) lose about 30% more weight than those who train at a slow, stable pace for long periods of time.
But if you don’t like it, find a way to move more. I may try it. Next week, pretend you don’t have a car (unless you need it in an emergency). Walk to the bus, train station, or shop. Or take the children to school. We promise that many step-by-step exercises will occur without your knowledge.
