Sydney police treat disappearance of 54-year-old man as suspicious

A search is underway for a man who went missing under suspicious circumstances in southern Sydney.

Zoran Popowski was last seen around 11:30 a.m. on Friday, April 14, during a railroad parade in Hurstville.

Police were called by the family the day after Popovsky failed to return home.

CCTV footage of Mr. Popovski’s final movements has been released, showing him crossing President Avenue at the Princes Highway intersection in Kogarah at approximately 12:40 p.m. on the day the 54-year-old man went missing. I’m here.

The detectives have formed Strike Force Yaminba and are seeking information from the public in hopes that someone in the area has seen the man.

A police statement said: “A land search in the Kogarah area will be launched with the support of public order and riot squads.

Zoran Popowski was last seen around 11:30 a.m. on April 14 in a railroad parade in Hurstville. ()

“The land survey will include areas around Cross Lane, French Street, Cross Street, and President Avenue in Kogarah.”

Mr. Popovski is described as having a Caucasian appearance with olive skin, 165 to 170 cm tall, a lean build, dark hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants, and possibly glasses.
