Sam Burgess removed to clarify exactly what SAS Australia’s harsh military-style course robbed him of.
Former NRL star joined Instagram after the “Debrief” episode of the Channel 7 program, which was a hit on Wednesday, and showed off his crazy transformation after two weeks of intense evaluation.
“This was the night after the SAS selection. 8.5kg down,” he captioned the post.

“It’s no exaggeration to say that I managed to get back a few kilograms.”
Burgess, 32, also sent a message to those who supported him.
“What a vehicle-thanks for your overwhelming support,” he said.
Fellow contestant Dan Ewing jokingly replied, “A newcomer to the official SAS thirst calendar 2022,” in a post that featured Burgess in some gray bond jokes.
An example of a British musician married to 2020 SAS contestant and Australian model Erin McNaught is “A small fridge or a giant Sam? Congratulations. You were incredible there.”
The South Sydney Champion was the only player to pass a selection course from the 18 celebrities that began.
This week’s Burgess makes him vulnerable again as victory limits a sort of reimbursement after a horrifying few years after being filled with marital scandals, substance abuse, and even criminal convictions. We evaluated the program for making it possible.
“When I agreed to take this course, I set two simple goals: being completely honest with myself and completing the course,” he writes.
“Through my experience, I have grown very much with pain and discomfort, joy and teamwork, fatigue and deprivation of food, but above all I better understand myself with enough fragility to share this. And, by extension, revealed the true character.
“Thanks to (the host of the show) … you are all great men with great prospects in life. We can all learn if we really hear the words spoken.
“To all my fellow new employees-congratulations on having the courage to say yes.”
A new season of SAS Australia featuring daily Australians will begin on Monday.
