Passion for person-centred care drives new director of mental health nursing

With more than 30 years of experience, Graham’ Miller’s top priority is developing the role of nurses in supporting consumers’ recovery journeys.

“My focus is on making sure consumer behavior is at the forefront of everything we do as a team,” says Graham.

Graham came to the local health district during the 2021 COVID-19 pandemic to assist the mental health incident management team. With a glimpse into the team’s operations, service plans and focus, he would gladly return as Director of Nursing if given the opportunity.

In this role, Graham will focus on strengthening the existing, high-performing nursing staff within the facility.

“Our nurses are essential to mental health. It is my hope that the mental health nursing staff will continue to provide high standards of recovery, trauma-based, and person-centered care throughout the school district,” said Graham. says Mr.

Graham seeks to build relationships with staff so they can support and maintain an agile and diverse team.
