RACQ LifeFlight rescue helicopter called to Scenic Rim after skydiver crash
A woman suffered multiple extremity injuries after skydiving at the Scenic Rim, west of the Gold Coast.
A woman in her 30s was reportedly injured after a hard landing around 2:30 pm on Sunday.
A Sunshine Coast-based RACQ LifeFlight rescue helicopter crew was called in to help Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics treat a woman’s injuries.
The helicopter pilot was able to land on the scene as the other skydivers landed safely.
The woman was transferred to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in stable condition.
Video from the scene shows at least 10 skydivers landing safely on the Scenic Rim field on a clear, sunny day.
