Motorcyclist dies following a fierce collision of two vehicles in the Hunter Valley | Newcastle Herald

Investigations are underway after a male motorcyclist died in two car accidents in Hunter Valley yesterday. At around 3:15 pm on Friday, January 14, emergency service was called on Mulbring’s Richmond Vale Road (about 20 km east of Cessnock) after the collision between the Suzuki GSX motorcycle and the Toyota Camry sedan. Police say both the car and the motorcycle have ignited. Despite the efforts of the ambulance crew, the rider, a 39-year-old man, died on the scene. A Camry male driver and his female passenger (both 66 years old) were slightly injured and taken to John Hunter Hospital. The woman suffered on suspicion of a broken hand. The NSW Regional Fire Department attended and extinguished the flames. The crime scene was established by police officers at the Hunter Valley Police Department investigating the cause of the collision.
