Man missing from north Sydney beach
Police have renewed the complaint of an elderly man who has been missing on a beach in northern Sydney since Tuesday.
He is known to frequent the North Head and Manly areas.credit:New South Wales Police
Richard Gottshard, 81, was last seen at his home on Reddall Street in Manly around 5pm on Tuesday.
Police were notified after Gottshardt could not be found or contacted.
Despite search efforts and SMS campaigns, he is still missing.
Gottshard’s family is concerned about his health as he has a medical condition that requires medication.
“Richard is described as having the appearance of a Caucasian, about 175 cm tall, of a slim build, with bald hair,” police wrote in their appeal to the public for assistance.
“He’s limping and being helped by a red walker.”
He is known to frequent the North Head and Manly areas.
