Large-scale fire broke out at Passaic chemical plant

On Friday, January 14, officials reported that a massive fire broke out at a chemical plant in Passaic, NJ, filling the night sky with flames and stimulating smoke and fleeing locals indoors. According to local reports, Passaic Mayor Hector Lola said a fire was occurring at the Quarco Chemical Factory on Passaic Street. The local government has instructed nearby residents to close the windows because of the danger of a chemical fire. Recorded by Ameer Al-Khatahtbeh from the elevated Route 21, this footage shows a burning fire on Friday night.
