Greg Norman, Australia’s most famous golfer and golf course developer, turned to what he considers to be the “amazing land” of Hawks Nest. Greg Norman Golf Course Design, Norman’s Design and Construction Development Division, has expressed interest in developing 1.4 hectares of land adjacent to the Hawks Nest Golf Club. Since March, the company has been discussing the possibility of transforming real estate into a world-class golf residence with real estate owner Koalerick. “As life outside the city expanded, I was impressed with this unique opportunity to capture what the housing market needs today,” the statements of both parties said. He also praised the project’s “contact with indigenous communities” and stated that “profit will definitely benefit the region and the town.” A Core Leric spokesman said the partnership is committed to working with all relevant stakeholders throughout the development application process to produce beautiful, practical and integrated end results. “To address the concerns of a particular area, we understand that the land size is only 1.4 hectares and is already properly zoned with a medium density R3 common to many existing real estate in the vicinity of the Hawks Nest. “We need to do that,” said a spokesman. “In addition, the development is not visible from the beach, with ample green space integrated with the surrounding environment, promoting a sense of healthy and active life.” Norman is not a stranger to Hunter’s golf course. He previously designed an 18-hole course at Rothbury’s Vintage Golf Club in the early 2000s. The resort includes a $ 5 million clubhouse, 44 Grand Mecule apartments, and the Chateau Elan Hotel. The resort was developed by American entrepreneur Don Panoz and Australian business manager John Stevens. Norman also designed a secluded 18-hole Elaston Golf Course at the Upper Hunter Estate of former businessman Kerry Packer. This course is consistently ranked as the best golf course in the world.
