Former Australian test cricket player Andrew Symonds Queensland Car accident. The 46-year-old woman was involved in a car crash late Saturday.

Queensland Police is investigating a crash in the Harvey Range, about 50 km from Townsville.

“Early information was that after 11 pm, when the car rolled off the road, it was driving on Harvey Range Road near Alice Riverbridge,” a police statement said.

“The paramedics tried to revive the 46-year-old driver and the only crew member, but he died in an injury.”

Symonds has done 26 tests in Australia and was a huge hit in short format games as an all-rounder.

In recent years, Symmonds has worked as a television commentator for Fox Sports and was a regular on Mike for the Big Bash League broadcast.

The death of Symonds follows the shocking death of fellow cricketer Shane Warne, who died in Thailand in March.
