A sitting Victorian MP is under investigation after appearing to instigate violence against Prime Minister Daniel Andrews during a rally in Melbourne.
Senate Crossbench MP captured angry Victorian Party candidate Katherine Cumming giving a speech outside Flinders Street Station on Saturday afternoon.
“One of the reasons I attended the Angry Victorian Party is to turn Daniel Andrews into a red mist,” she told the crowd.
“In the military, we call it the Pink Mist, but I want him to be the Red Mist. If you give someone in the military the job of blowing up someone, they don’t.” prize.”

Victoria Police have confirmed they will investigate.
“Police will investigate reports of inflammatory behavior during a speech at a rally outside Flinders Street Station on November 19,” the spokesperson said.
“Due to the ongoing investigation, it is inappropriate to comment further at this stage.”
Dr. Cumming said he was comfortable with his comments.
“There was no inflammatory action. I’m pretty sure there was no inflammatory action,” she told AAP.
She argued that the reference to “Red Mist” was about the Labor Party’s “Red Shirts” scandal, not to military terminology.
“I was in the military as a medic. I don’t have a gun license. It’s kind of silly to suggest that words I said would incite violence,” Dr. Cumming said. .
MP said police surrounded her and the crowd as she delivered her speech and knew who she was.
“They never came up to me and talked about what I said,” she said.
Liberal Party leader Matthew Guy condemned Cumming’s comments. “Such statements and words are not valid in our state or country,” he said in a statement.
“Dr. Cumming should retract these statements immediately and apologize openly.”
Dr. Cumming represents voters in the Western metropolitan area.
