Coronavirus crisis: Ernie Dingo is threatened with murder on a tour of northern Western Australia, boosting jab rates

Ernie Dingo was threatened with murder by anti-Baxers during a tour of northern Western Australia seeking to increase vaccination coverage for indigenous peoples.
It is understood that an avid anti-vax social media group was trying to track the actor during his two-month federal-funded trip.
Intimidation of murder and vulgar racial abuse are directed at dingos within the group, some of which have thousands of members.
During his tour, he seeks to break the stigma surrounding vaccines in many remote indigenous communities.
However, online abuse of dingos is fierce.
One declared dingo was “a traitor to your own people.”
“… Promote a genocide in exchange for banknotes, this will be your legacy Arnie Dingo,” another person wrote.
In Port Hedland, only 21.7% of indigenous people over the age of 15 are fully vaccinated, and in Karasa only 24.3% are vaccinated.
Radical anti-vaxxers have become more and more active in recent weeks, and on Friday police raided the Joondalup vaccination clinic and charged two men who harassed school children waiting to be jabed.
On Wednesday, Prime Minister Mark Magawan was forced to close the Rockingham elections office indefinitely after staff were threatened with death and rape.
