Sam Kerr makes young girl’s day as she offers a selfie to Matildas fan in Perth

Sam Kerr made a fan from Perth very happy when she called out to the young girl from her car so she could run over to take a photo with her.

The video of the moment, posted to the Matildas Instagram on Saturday, shows a cheery Kerr leaning out of the window of her car as she leaves Optus Stadium and calls out to a young fan.

“Come on quick. We’ll do a photo,” Kerr shouts.

The young girl runs over and poses for a photo with the soccer star and thanks her.

“Thank you,” the young girl says.

Kerr suggests for the fan to take a selfie as well.

“Do a selfie,” she says.

After the fan waves goodbye, Kerr faces the camera happy she had just made her day.

“We just made someone’s day. That’s great,” Kerr says.

The Matildas are currently in Perth for the Olympic qualifiers and prepare for their match on Sunday against the Philippines at Optus Stadium.
