Australia-based visual communication platform Canva announces video editing suite. On October 13th, Canva Video Suite was released. It’s an end-to-end video production product and will be another weapon for editing giants.
Launched in Perth in 2013, Canva has become a marketer’s go-to tool. Its intuitive editing, a free program for the web, desktop and mobile, is essential for many businesses and individuals.
A new part of Canva promises to simplify video production. Contains templates for events, workplaces, and businesses. It also provides dimensions for different social media platforms to customize each video for a particular site.
Other features include a scene-based editor, multiple audio tracks, animation effects, screen and camera recording. This software provides a scene-focused interface. This allows the user to decompose the video and crop the scene. There’s also a video preview in the editor so you don’t have to save it every time.
According to a recent survey conducted by Canva, 68% say video is becoming more important. In addition to this, 53% of teams have created video content in the last 18 months.
It’s also useful for those who continue to work remotely, as team members can add comments, assign actions, and work in the same scene.
Rob Kawalsky, Head of Products, said of the platform: “One of Canva’s guidelines is to keep things simple. Our new video suite allows anyone to unleash the power of video,” says Kawalski.
