The first tower on 555 Collins Street will accommodate 4,500 workers once it is built.
After Amazon announced last year that it would serve retail customers and open a second fulfillment center in Victoria to develop a new Amazon web services cloud infrastructure.
The entire project consists of two towers, a total of 84,000 square meters of office space, and more than 2,300 square meters of retail stores spanning two stages, with technology-enabled environment and health and wellness facilities.
The development of Collins St is the result of a collaboration between owner and developer fund managers Charter Hall, Cox Architecture, and global design practices Gensler and Lendlease Constructions.
Build secured plan approval from the Victoria State Government in May 2020 under the Building Restoration Task Force, which was established in May 2020 to identify and accelerate shovel-enabled priority projects.
The development of Collins Street in Charter Hall consists of two towers and a total of 84,000 square meters of office space.
