A 48-year-old woman in Texas was found dead at home, and police believe she may have been beaten by a dog.

A Texas woman found dead in the backyard may have been beaten by her dog, police said.

Tiffany L. Frangione, 48, was found last Friday morning in a garden in Houston with a fatal puncture wound on her neck. New York postReport.

According to the detective, Frangione took two puppies out to the backyard as he passed through the fence and began fighting his neighbor’s dog.

They believe Frangione was trying to intervene when his dog (a 5-year-old female Alaskan Husky mix and a male Cane Corso mix) turned her on.

She was dead when the police arrived at the scene.

Frangione’s husband handed over the two dogs to the BARC Animal Shelter in Houston on Friday, according to local ABC affiliates. KTRK..

The dog was scheduled to be euthanized on Monday.

Police said they were waiting for an autopsy result to determine the official cause of death for Frangione.

The Harris County Forensic Institute will provide the findings.
