A man exiled from all Woolworths stores in the country tried his luck again in the western suburbs.
A 42-year-old man with an unspecified address set foot in a Florito supermarket on Thursday at 8:15 am.
He hid a lot of groceries in his bag and left without paying.
The store manager contacted the police and found him at a bus stop near Cambridge Street.
He was arrested and taken to Wembley Police Station for further interrogation and was found to have been involved in other theft crimes.
Police said the man was subject to a national ban on Woolworths, but was stolen from other stores such as Subiaco on October 31 and Mandurah on November 14.
He appeared in the Magistrates’ Court in Perth and pleaded guilty to two thefts and three trespasses.
He was fined $ 600 and sentenced to three months in prison.
