Woman’s body found at home in western Sydney

New South Wales Police have launched an investigation into the death of a 31-year-old woman whose body was found at her western Sydney home on Sunday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the Cranebrook home on Sunday afternoon and found a seriously injured woman who was pronounced dead at the scene.

New South Wales police officers set up the crime scene and launched an investigation with the help of the State Crime Command’s Homicide Investigation Unit.

Police said the woman did not live in the house and was known to residents.

Detectives are appealing to anyone who has witnessed suspicious activity in the area or who has information that could help advance an investigation.
