The 2023 Maserati MC20 has a higher base price and more safety devices available, but the Italian brand says it’s sold out.
The price of the 2023 Maserati MC20 Coupe has risen by $ 29,000 compared to the 2022 model and now starts at $ 467,000, excluding road costs and options.
This high asking price is about $ 17,000 cheaper than the Ferrari F8 Tributo and about $ 31,000 cheaper than the Lamborghini Huracán EVO.
As detailed earlier, Maserati has unveiled a drop-top version of the MC20 called the MC20 Cielo. This is the price from $ 528,000 minus the on-road cost.
Despite the rising price of the MC20 Coupe, the 2023 model has new standard features.
These new standard features include a carbon fiber engine cover, an Alcantara steering wheel with carbon fiber inserts, a new blue starter button, and a touch-sensitive 1.6-inch round drive mode selector.
Optional new 20-inch carbon fiber wheels and 20-inch “MMXX” gloss black diamond-cut alloy wheels are also available.
Maserati has expanded the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) safety suite, but it is still only available as an optional extra.
New optional safety features include autonomous emergency braking (AEB) with pedestrian and cyclist detection, surround view cameras, rear cross traffic alerts, automatic anti-glare door mirrors, and traffic sign recognition.
Parking sensors, rear view cameras and blind spot monitoring were previously added as options for the 2022 model.
A new exterior paint color, Grigio Incognitio, has been introduced to the MC20 series. Also, as part of the Maserati Fuoriserie customization program, we have introduced an optional aquamarine paint color for the MC20 Cielo.
Another addition to the 2023 model is a three-year “comprehensive maintenance program.” It covers all logbook service requirements.
Production of the 2023 Maserati MC20 Coupe will begin in November 2022, and production of the 2023 Maserati MC20 Cielo Spider will begin in January 2023.
- 2023 Maserati MC20 Coupe: $ 467,000
- 2023 Maserati MC20 Cielo Spider: $ 528,000
All prices do not include street costs.
Both the 2023 Maserati MC20 and MC20 Cielo are powered by a 3.0-liter Nettuno twin-turbo V6 engine, producing 470kW of output and 730Nm of torque.
It is a drive that is sent only to the rear wheels and is coupled to an 8-speed dual clutch transmission.
Maserati claims that the MC20 Coupe can perform a 0-100km / h sprint in 2.9 seconds and the MC20Cielo Spider can perform a 0-100km / h sprint in approximately 3.0 seconds.
The MC20 Coupe has a top speed of over 325km / h and the MC20 Cielo Spider has a top speed of over 320km / h.
The combined cycle fuel economy of the Maserati MC20 Coupe in 2023 is said to be 11.6L / 100km.
Maserati has not yet detailed the official fuel economy figures for the MC20 Cielo Spider.
The MC20 has a 60L fuel tank and requires premium unleaded gasoline.
The 2023 Maserati MC20 and MC20 Cielo are both 4669mm long, 2178mm wide and 1224mm high, with a wheelbase of 2700mm.
Both models have a rear trunk capacity of 100L and a front trunk capacity of 50L. The total trunk capacity is 150L.
The Maserati MC20 Coupe weighs 1475 kg, while the MC20 Cielo Spider tilts at 1540 kg.
Italian carmakers claim that the MC20 Cielo still “maintains the dynamic performance and driving pleasure of the coupe version,” despite the slight increase in weight.
Both models are made with a body made of carbon fiber and composite material, but the MC20 Cielo has a glass roof that can be electrically stowed.
This glass roof can be opened and closed in 12 seconds and has an electrochromic function that changes from transparent to opaque at the push of a button. The BMW iX has the same functionality as a fixed panoramic glass sunroof.
