However, this variant jumps to 8-speed auto and mechanically offers a variety of torque bands. We noticed that the 8-speed auto was very elastic off the mark, effectively “stretching” in the first throttle application and then “twisting” you forward. This probably has to do with engineers trying to make it as smooth, comfortable and progressive as possible.

I didn’t have the opportunity to run regular Vbox tests because it was dangerous. However, time does not reflect the true performance potential, mainly due to the intensity of the rain and the slippery surface. Acceleration fans can use Peugeot’s claims as a guide. The 121kW engine promises 0-100km / h in 9.9 seconds, while the 8-speed 133kW unit requires 8.8 seconds.

I feel these times are plausible to us. The 121kW GT is suitable for reaching highway speeds and spins in an energetic and enthusiastic position, while the 133kW GT Sport definitely gets there with less effort. Again, the engine can take advantage of additional ratios, which makes 8-speed auto useful in this sector. Peugeot says gear can also study and learn driving habits.
